The Oziel Charity Foundation is an IRS designated 501C (3) Tax-Exempt entity established in the State of New Jersey under the auspices of Oziel Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern star, Prince Hall Affiliation, Inc., for the express purpose to collect and disseminate funds for charitable, religious, educational and health awareness activities in accordance with the regulations of the IRS Code.

Oziel Grand Chapter, incorporated 1913 with a membership of 3000 men and women, has a legacy of contributing endeavors throughout the state, the nation and internationally.

The Foundation was created specifically to focus on responding to the increased need for assistance in crisis situations, caused by catastrophic natural disasters, i.e. hurricanes, floods, fires, etc. or other instances of dire need.  Scholarships for post-secondary education are available as well as support for programs of cultural and/or civic enrichment.  Support is also provided to established and qualified healthcare, resource and research organizations.
